News: New School Administrators Named

The diocesan Schools Office announces the following schools will have new administrators for the 2020-2021 school year.
- Christ the King Catholic School: Daniel Thole is the new school administrator at Christ the King School. He brings more than seven years of experience in education, having served as a classroom teacher, administrator, behavior interventionist, and director of secondary programs. - Holy Trinity Catholic School: Melissa Reder will be the new principal and Monica Morrison will be the new assistant principal at Holy Trinity Catholic School. Reder brings more than 17 years educational leadership experience in public and Catholic schools, as well as expertise in institutional advancement. Read more about her here. Morrison comes to Holy Trinity from Christ the King School in Des Moines having served as an academic interventionist supporting faculty in meeting the needs of children facing academic challenges. With nearly 20 years educational experience, Morrison is adept at designing and implementing accommodation plans and applying data analysis to support student growth and achievement. - St. Joseph Catholic School: Jodi Halligan brings more than 13 years of experience in education as a classroom teacher and faith formation leader at St. Pius X School in Urbandale. Halligan has employed innovative instructional strategies, continuing education, and data to yield positive student outcomes. Read more about her here.
- Diocesan Catholic Schools Office: Dr. Anne Franklin is the new Director of Professional Learning at the Catholic Schools Office. Franklin brings more than 10 years of experience in educational leadership having served in administration at Holy Trinity School in Des Moines, and as a classroom teacher at both Waukee Community School District and Mount Pleasant Community School District.
