A bachelor’s degree in education or related field is required. The ideal candidate will also have a multi-subject teaching credential with a music background, experience working with children in an educational setting, proficiency in lesson planning and classroom management, knowledge of educational administration principles, strong behavioral management skills, the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners, and familiarity with library services and literacy education.

A K-6 regular classroom teacher endorsement (102) or other endorsement as approved by the Board of Educational Examiners is a requirement for this position. A reading endorsement (148) is preferred but not required. Experience working in a diverse student and learner population is preferred but not required. Practicing Catholic preferred but not required.
