Newly ordained priests given their assignments

Fathers Nick Smith, Rodrigo Mayora Landeros and Alex Kr

Bishop William Joensen has made the following appointments effective June 24.

Newly ordained Father Alex Kramer will return to Rome to study Canon law at the Pontifical Gregorian University.

Newly ordained Father Rodrigo Mayorga Landeros will serve at St. Anthony Parish in Des Moines while assisting Hispanic Ministry in the city.

Newly ordained Father Nicholas Smith will serve as parochial vicar at Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Parish in Ankeny.

Fathers Kramer, Mayora Landeros and Smith were ordained Friday, June 24 at St. Ambrose Cathedral.
