When Should We Confirm? - PCL Connect October Gathering Session (East)
October 17, 2024 9:00 AM
Location: Assumption Catholic Church - Parish Hall, 1906 Sycamore Street, Granger, IA, 50109
Join John Gaffney and our colleagues who minister within lifelong formation in faith for a facilitated working groups conversation as the first step to assess the landscape on potentially changing the age of Confirmation.
If the discernment process leads to a change, it effects more than those working with candidates for Confirmation. This change will impact those working with adults, children, family formation, as well as youth ministry.
There are two options for you to participate in these initial working groups conversations:
- October 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm – An evening session on Zoom for colleagues who aren’t able to join a satellite session on October 17
- October 17 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm – Satellite sessions at Assumption parish in Granger and Saints Peter and Paul parish in Atlantic. Please register for the location where you will be attending. This is needed for hospitality count & resources.
