"Sing a New Song" A Catholic World Premier Concert Series

Sacred Heart invites you "Sing a New Song" on February 20th at 7 PM. This concert series is aimed at helping to draw ourselves and others deeper into the beauty of our faith by premiering newly composed works of sacred music by a handful of talented composers.

Local diocese music directors Marion Scott, Rosa Scott, Nate Sparks, and Tom Quiner, as well as a few exceptional composers abroad , will be contributing brand new compositions for choir, small string orchestra and organ/piano. Nicholas Lemme, music professor at OLG Seminary in Lincoln NE, has also written a brilliant piece and will be traveling up to conduct it.

Performing these works will be Catholic singers and organists from around the diocese and a mix of Catholic and professional string players.
