Guided Retreat in Everyday Life: Birth

This retreat draws upon themes from the "Second Week" of the Spiritual Exercises, focusing on Jesus' humanity from the Incarnation through his public ministry. This retreat invites us "toward a personal discovery of the profound significance of the life of Christ as the paradigm of each one's passage into a way of living that incarnates the Spirit of Jesus in our world." (Syrup Bergan & Schwan)

Retreatants will pray daily for approximately 30-45 minutes using resources from the Take and Receive series by Jacqueline Syrup Bergan & S. Marie Schwan. Once a week, we will gather as a group for prayerful reflection, sacred listening, and spiritual conversation.

Dates: 12/5, 12/12, 12/19, 1/2, 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, & 1/30
