Special Collection for Tornado Recovery

On Friday, April 26 a powerful storm system spawned 17 tornadoes that swept across Iowa. The rural town of Minden and homes in the countryside suffered catastrophic damage. Damage was also sustained near Creston, Osceola, Tingley at the southern border, and in Pleasant Hill.

These events can bring much devastation to the lives of families and communities. Yet, also in these moments, there can arise even a greater outpouring of generosity and support from the broader community of faith.
